Comments for the student:
Comments for faculty: Michael stated that he was not prepared for the interview as his professor did not give him enough background knowledge. Said he "tried to drop out" but couldn't. I spoke to Michael about how to prepare for interviews when you are unclear of who or what you will be interviewing for. I discussed the importance of being able to pivot. I tried to give Michael feedback on shaking off the nerves, but overall it did not seem as though Michael was seeking feedback today.
