Comments for the student: Overall, excellent job. Dominic excelled at this mock interview and had one of the the best interview from the group today. Dominic was well-prepared, well-spoken, direct, and used elevated language when formulating his responses. Dominic was personable and authentic, while demonstrating his extensive work, school, and extracurricular leadership experience. He did an exceptional job answering the first question "tell me about yourself", which students often struggle with. He was able to directly and comprehensively express who he is, his strengths, his chronological work history and impact, and what he would like to achieve in this response. This question will 99% of the time be the first question asked in any interview, and is critical to the success of the interview. Dominic also was able to elaborate and provide a meaningful response as to why he chose his major and Quinnipiac in particular, going beyond a superficial layer and speaking to the what the program and school offers. The one piece of feedback I shared to further elevate Dominic in a real interview setting is to weave in the core values of a company and referencing how they align with his when asked "why are you interested in working for our company". This will make it evident to the interviewer that he is the right candidate for the role from a company culture perspective. He can also elaborate more on what he feels his impact will be when being asked question like "why should I hire you / what are your longer -term career goals".
I would highly recommend that Dominic pursue elevated internship opportunities at competitive investment banks (which is not something I recommend for every student). He has the elevated skill sets needed and is well-positioned to be a completive candidate as demonstrated from his interview today and his resume. He is a self-starter and motivated, and should seek opportunities to meet his full potential. Definitely a stand out today - excellent job.

If you are in direct contact with you interviewer, it is often considered a best practice to send a brief thank-you note following the interview. Within that note, you can share your interview feedback link.
Here is some sample language you can use within your thank-you note, which we encourage you to revise as you feel is most appropriate:
As I am new to the interviewing process and always looking to improve, I'd like to ask if you would take a minute to give me some (anonymous) interview feedback.
The following link [insert your interview feedback URL] contains just five general questions about my interview performance and is designed to be completed in under a minute.
If you are not in direct contact with your interviewer, it’s still often considered a best practice to send a brief thank-you note to the interview coordinator following your interview(s). Within that note, you can share your interview feedback link.
