Comments for the student: As discussed, my general feedback for all students and upcoming grads is eye contact and professionalism goes a long way in this day and age. I appreciate your self-awareness of strengths, weaknesses, and desires in your career. You came across as likeable, but a little uncertain. Preparation for future interview will go a long way in making you feel confident and prepared - letting your personality shine through! Best of luck in your continued education, I look forward to staying in touch Elora.
Comments for faculty: Elora was a sweet and enjoyable candidate to meet. It seemed there was some confusion around interview preparation so there were some job-specific questions that admittedly fell flat. That being said she recognized that when I asked her how she felt the interview went. She was also in a hoodie for the interview, not sure if they were instructed to dress up, but we did talk about the importance of overall preparedness and first impressions. She took that feedback and handled casual conversation after the interview very well.
