Comments for the student: As mentioned, my comments for everyone will include that eye contact and professionalism goes a long way nowadays. Your preparedness, clear communication, and professional attire differentiated you from peers. I appreciated your thoughtful answers and ability to tied in the organization's mission and goal to your own motivations. As discussed, especially for a sales role - be yourself! Use your natural curiosity and charisma to make people engage with you to better position your interests and strengths. Tie your 'whys' to concrete examples and experiences to give the interviewer more confidence that you can and will live up to the buzzwords. Put your sales hat on and use your experience as a Server and Busser to be relevant to whatever role you are applying for. Always ask questions, this shows general interest and can be used to highlight the depth of your consideration and research of the company opportunity. Overall, great job Jacob. It was great meeting you and I look forward to staying in touch!
Comments for faculty: Jacob showed up in a suit and tie, prepared with a company and job. He was professional, but very likeable despite being a little nervous. He did a great job aligning his interests and experiences both educationally and personally to the job he was interviewing for.
Biggest miss was he didn't prepare any questions for the interview or me, which he admitted himself was a mistake. Overall a really great interview presentation for a Sophomore!
