Comments for the student: As mentioned, my comments for everyone will include that eye contact and professionalism goes a long way nowadays. I encourage you to use an AI tool of your choice to map your interests, strengths, and professional goals to have a better idea of what you are striving for through your educational journey. I appreciated the research and understanding you had on RightClick and transparency of your strengths and areas of uncertainty. Continue to build out your confidence marketing yourself in alignment to whatever role you are striving for and you will do great! Thanks for the time and conversation, Mia.
Comments for faculty: Mia was kind and enjoyable to meet with. However, she did not have clear direction on the goal or structure of the interview practice. She didn't have a job prepared to interview for making some of the questions difficult for her to perform well. While she wasn't inappropriately dressed, she wasn't professionally dressed or prepared for the interview - I am not sure if this is a breakdown in the communication process between faculty and students or a failure on Mia's part. Overall, she came across uncertain of herself and unclear of her ambitions (not surprising for a sophomore), so we talked about clarifying those goals to be able to take her future development and education more seriously.

If you are in direct contact with you interviewer, it is often considered a best practice to send a brief thank-you note following the interview. Within that note, you can share your interview feedback link.
Here is some sample language you can use within your thank-you note, which we encourage you to revise as you feel is most appropriate:
As I am new to the interviewing process and always looking to improve, I'd like to ask if you would take a minute to give me some (anonymous) interview feedback.
The following link [insert your interview feedback URL] contains just five general questions about my interview performance and is designed to be completed in under a minute.
If you are not in direct contact with your interviewer, it’s still often considered a best practice to send a brief thank-you note to the interview coordinator following your interview(s). Within that note, you can share your interview feedback link.
