Comments for the student: Overall, great job! Hailey came well-prepared and was calm, confident, and thoughtful in her answers. I was impressed with her follow-up questions she asked following the interview (went above and beyond with 3 questions) I enjoyed learning more about her background, interests, and extracurricular activities. Hailey was genuine and authentic and expressed her career interests (IT, computer information systems, business) clearly in her answers. My feedback to bring her interview skills to the next level would include speaking more to her soft skills and those components that set her apart from the competition (when asked "why should I hire you for this role"). Highlighting her soft skills will help her stand out when being interviewed for future roles, internships, etc. Granted this mock interview was only 10-12 minutes, I would encourage her to provide more details / supporting examples and stories to some of her answers in a real interview (which would be 30+ minutes typically). Great job Hailey!

If you are in direct contact with you interviewer, it is often considered a best practice to send a brief thank-you note following the interview. Within that note, you can share your interview feedback link.
Here is some sample language you can use within your thank-you note, which we encourage you to revise as you feel is most appropriate:
As I am new to the interviewing process and always looking to improve, I'd like to ask if you would take a minute to give me some (anonymous) interview feedback.
The following link [insert your interview feedback URL] contains just five general questions about my interview performance and is designed to be completed in under a minute.
If you are not in direct contact with your interviewer, it’s still often considered a best practice to send a brief thank-you note to the interview coordinator following your interview(s). Within that note, you can share your interview feedback link.
