Comments for the student: Overall, Gianni did a great job. He was well prepared, and was extremely personable and authentic. He made the interview conversational which made him memorable; he should continue to leverage his personality and this skillset to stand out in future interviews. Gianni did a great job weaving in personal experiences / stories to support his answers. My feedback to Gianni included providing a more comprehensive and detailed answers to some of the questions like "Why a Marketing major and Why Quinnipiac"; in other words, provide enough details so the interviewer does not need to dig or ask multiple follow-ups. The other piece of advice we discussed is to drill into the company and division he is interviewing for (in the scenario of an actual interview) in order to showcase his knowledge of the company. Pulling in core values and principles of the company will impress the interviewer and allow the interviewee to stand out.
