Comments for the student: Lucas did a great job overall - he came prepared and eager to showcase his accomplishments, ambition, and desire to succeed. Lucas did a great job making the interview conversational and being authentic and genuine with his answers. He demonstrated research on the company he was applying for (GS) by weaving in some of the core values and principles into his responses. He used examples and stories to support many of his answers, and I would encourage him to add even more levels of detail into his responses in a real interview. One additional item of feedback I provided was to incorporate stronger and more direct language (avoid some filler words like "kind of" and "like" as this weakens the power and directness of the responses). This holds particularly true when answering the question "Why should we hire you". This will organically improve as Lucas continues to practice interviewing and actually interviews for future internships and roles. Great job Lucas!

If you are in direct contact with you interviewer, it is often considered a best practice to send a brief thank-you note following the interview. Within that note, you can share your interview feedback link.
Here is some sample language you can use within your thank-you note, which we encourage you to revise as you feel is most appropriate:
As I am new to the interviewing process and always looking to improve, I'd like to ask if you would take a minute to give me some (anonymous) interview feedback.
The following link [insert your interview feedback URL] contains just five general questions about my interview performance and is designed to be completed in under a minute.
If you are not in direct contact with your interviewer, it’s still often considered a best practice to send a brief thank-you note to the interview coordinator following your interview(s). Within that note, you can share your interview feedback link.
