Comments for the student: Overall, great job! Michael came well prepared to the interview and immediately showcased his entrepreneurial spirt, determination and passion to start his own business in the future. He was personable, authentic, and genuine, and provided thoughtful and thorough answers to the questions asked of him. I was most impressed with his answer to "why should I hire you". While some students struggle with answering this question, Michael was direct and confident, indicating his hard work ethic, passion for marketing, and perseverance, while also highlighting how his experience sets him apart. I was also impressed with his follow-up questions; while I often receive very generic, vague questions, Michael asked me very specific and thoughtful questions about my role and views.
Comments for faculty: I was so impressed with Michael's determination and fearlessness to meet with me and power through his inteview. Prior to the interview he explained to me his speech related challenges in order to level set expectations; with this in mind, I have re-baselined the feedback/scoring. He did an excellent job and I was inspired by his entrepreneurial spirit; I'm excited to see what is in store for him.
