Comments for the student: Zach was early and I noticed he was here at least 15mins prior to his time. He was prompt and ready when it was his turn. Firm handshake, clear introduction. Zach's body language was casual when he sat at the table to begin questions.
Main feedback was to make sure you are connecting your marketable skills to the job description and needs/wants of the company you are interviewing. Zach mentioned the company's mission statement which was a strong response, connecting that to your personal goals and beliefs would show the full and in depth connection.
He did well at the end asking questions about his resume and future interviews. I noted formatting of his resume as well as some of the context. It was suggested he come to have his resume reviewed by our GAs to make it more applicable to the types of positions he is interested in.
Comments for faculty: Student did not come in with clear understanding of the position he was applying for. I am unsure if it was a break down in communication of what he should have prepared prior to interview as I saw this issue across the board today. No cover letter was presented and he indicated it was for the Monte Financial position, but no background on that.
He didn't seem as prepared for it to be an interview as most students did.

If you are in direct contact with you interviewer, it is often considered a best practice to send a brief thank-you note following the interview. Within that note, you can share your interview feedback link.
Here is some sample language you can use within your thank-you note, which we encourage you to revise as you feel is most appropriate:
As I am new to the interviewing process and always looking to improve, I'd like to ask if you would take a minute to give me some (anonymous) interview feedback.
The following link [insert your interview feedback URL] contains just five general questions about my interview performance and is designed to be completed in under a minute.
If you are not in direct contact with your interviewer, it’s still often considered a best practice to send a brief thank-you note to the interview coordinator following your interview(s). Within that note, you can share your interview feedback link.
