Comments for the student: Drew presents as a very worldly and experienced candidate. We discussed him making sure his resume is tailored to the position he wants and that role's objectives. Drew through conversation was able to illustrate his leadership qualities and reception to taking on responsibilities and working independently. I told him his resume should indicate and highlight those attributes.
Drew was able to take ownership of the position he wanted and draw upon currents skills to make him a viable candidate. Also, his passion for his ideal position was evident.
Comments for faculty: Drew did well. He came off nervous and settled in relatively quickly. I would suggest a resume review to make sure he is highlighting his marketable skills. Out of the group I interviewed he was the most prepared, cover letter in hand, and understanding of what the process was.
