Comments for the student: It was great meeting Bridget and learning more about her background and interests in supply chain management and her ambitions for the future. Bridget was prepared, engaged, and both authentic and confident in her answers. She demonstrated her preparation and research on the company by referencing Goldman's engagement and commitment to sustainability projects and environmental focus. Bridget should continue to research any company that she interviews for in the future to understand and speak to the company's core values and mission statement; this will help her stand out from the competition and connect with ant interviewer. We spoke about the importance of understanding company cultures and aligning personal values and interests with that of the company to determine a good fit and work environment. Bridget also demonstrated her leadership skills by referencing her position of president of the Supply Chain Management Club. She should leverage this opportunity to further build out her resume and speak to this leadership positing in future interviews to explain why she is the best fit for the role. The one piece of feedback I shared to further elevate her interview skills was to be a bit more specific and detailed in her answers; in other words, she should share stories of her experiences to support and bolster her responses (ie, why should I hire you question). This will help her stand out and be memorable while also showing the interviewer why she is the best candidate and fit for a role. Overall great job!

If you are in direct contact with you interviewer, it is often considered a best practice to send a brief thank-you note following the interview. Within that note, you can share your interview feedback link.
Here is some sample language you can use within your thank-you note, which we encourage you to revise as you feel is most appropriate:
As I am new to the interviewing process and always looking to improve, I'd like to ask if you would take a minute to give me some (anonymous) interview feedback.
The following link [insert your interview feedback URL] contains just five general questions about my interview performance and is designed to be completed in under a minute.
If you are not in direct contact with your interviewer, it’s still often considered a best practice to send a brief thank-you note to the interview coordinator following your interview(s). Within that note, you can share your interview feedback link.
