Comments for the student: It was great meeting Benny and learning more about his background and ambitions. Benny was well prepared, engaged, and was direct and fluid in his responses to all questions. Through his answers, he demonstrated that he is adaptable and easy to work with / a team player which are great assets, and will stand out to any future hiring manager / interviewer. We spoke a great deal about transferable skills, particularly those that he gained as a substitute teacher, and how referencing those experience(s) in an interview will make him stand out and be memorable. One piece of feedback I provided to further elevate Benny's interview skills, is to incorporate more stories / details / experiences to support answers to many of the questions. This will further round out and bolster the conversation with an interviewer, and also show why Benny is the best fit for any particular role. I also advised Benny to deeply research any company he applies to in the future by looking at the company's mission statement and core values and principles. He can then weave this into his answers which will enable the interviewer to identify him as a great cultural fit for the company. Overall, great job Benny!

If you are in direct contact with you interviewer, it is often considered a best practice to send a brief thank-you note following the interview. Within that note, you can share your interview feedback link.
Here is some sample language you can use within your thank-you note, which we encourage you to revise as you feel is most appropriate:
As I am new to the interviewing process and always looking to improve, I'd like to ask if you would take a minute to give me some (anonymous) interview feedback.
The following link [insert your interview feedback URL] contains just five general questions about my interview performance and is designed to be completed in under a minute.
If you are not in direct contact with your interviewer, it’s still often considered a best practice to send a brief thank-you note to the interview coordinator following your interview(s). Within that note, you can share your interview feedback link.
