Comments for the student: Anthony came well prepared, and overall, delivered specific and detailed answers to each question. He was personable and authentic, enabling a conversational approach to the mock interview which he should continue to apply in future interview opportunities. Anthony did an excellent job introducing himself, providing a comprehensive overview of his background, why he chose Quinnipiac, his Finance major, and the 3+1 program. He effectively was able to connect his major to real life examples, including his family business (e.g. how he applies his learnings real-time to the accounting and financial aspects of his apprenticeship role in his family's business). I was super impressed with his dedication to obtaining a PPL (private pilot license) - Anthony should embed that into his future interviews and include on his resume as well! Some opportunities we discussed to implement in future interviews includes the following: (1) Research programs and core values of the company he is interviewing for and reference / weave those items into his answers, especially when being asked "why are you interested in working for our company". (2) Support answers with specific examples / stories from work, school, or extracurricular involvement (e.g. - don't just say you have leadership skills, share a story exemplifying your leadership). Overall, great job Anthony!

If you are in direct contact with you interviewer, it is often considered a best practice to send a brief thank-you note following the interview. Within that note, you can share your interview feedback link.
Here is some sample language you can use within your thank-you note, which we encourage you to revise as you feel is most appropriate:
As I am new to the interviewing process and always looking to improve, I'd like to ask if you would take a minute to give me some (anonymous) interview feedback.
The following link [insert your interview feedback URL] contains just five general questions about my interview performance and is designed to be completed in under a minute.
If you are not in direct contact with your interviewer, it’s still often considered a best practice to send a brief thank-you note to the interview coordinator following your interview(s). Within that note, you can share your interview feedback link.
