Comments for the student: Overall, good job. Tatum came prepared, and was friendly, professional, positive, and genuine in her composure and answers. Tatum demonstrated her strengths within the first question "tell me about yourself", showcasing her organizational and time management skills and indicating how her strengths tied to her major. Tatum also came prepared with a mock company role description and referenced details from this description in her answer to "why do you want to work for our company". My one suggestion for any of her future interviews is to research the company a bit more, specifically the core values, principals, key programs, etc. and to weave those items into her answer to this question. This will further demonstrate to the interviewer her desire to work for the company, but also will show how she is the best fit. My other suggestion to further elevate her interview skills is to round out her answers with stories and examples (from her work, school, extracurriculars, etc) to support her statements and to add more detail and color to her experience.

If you are in direct contact with you interviewer, it is often considered a best practice to send a brief thank-you note following the interview. Within that note, you can share your interview feedback link.
Here is some sample language you can use within your thank-you note, which we encourage you to revise as you feel is most appropriate:
As I am new to the interviewing process and always looking to improve, I'd like to ask if you would take a minute to give me some (anonymous) interview feedback.
The following link [insert your interview feedback URL] contains just five general questions about my interview performance and is designed to be completed in under a minute.
If you are not in direct contact with your interviewer, it’s still often considered a best practice to send a brief thank-you note to the interview coordinator following your interview(s). Within that note, you can share your interview feedback link.
