Comments for the student: Overall, very good job. Michael came well prepared and provided thoughtful and detailed answers to all of the questions asked of him. He was clear in his responses, and showcased his interests and passion to work in the commercial real estate, asset management, and private equity spaces. In particular, he was authentic and demonstrated humility and integrity, while also being confident in detailing his accomplishments and achievements. Michael has fantastic internship and work experience and should weave in more stories / share his experience from these opportunities to support his answers and to demonstrate why he is the best fit for the role in any actual interview in the future. Sharing specific stories / examples from his internship, work, and extracurricular experiences will help him stand out and be memorable when interviewing in the future which is essential to being a completive candidate. One piece of feedback I also shared was to research the company for which he will be applying to identify the company's mission statement and core values / principles which he can incorporate into some of his answers (ie "why do you want to work for this company"). This is a great way for the interviewer to identify him as a great cultural fit and will give him a leg up. Overall, great job; it was great getting to know Michael and his interests within finance, and he should be proud of his accomplishments, achievements, and internships to date.

If you are in direct contact with you interviewer, it is often considered a best practice to send a brief thank-you note following the interview. Within that note, you can share your interview feedback link.
Here is some sample language you can use within your thank-you note, which we encourage you to revise as you feel is most appropriate:
As I am new to the interviewing process and always looking to improve, I'd like to ask if you would take a minute to give me some (anonymous) interview feedback.
The following link [insert your interview feedback URL] contains just five general questions about my interview performance and is designed to be completed in under a minute.
If you are not in direct contact with your interviewer, it’s still often considered a best practice to send a brief thank-you note to the interview coordinator following your interview(s). Within that note, you can share your interview feedback link.
