Comments for the student: Janet was well prepared, personable, friendly, and professional throughout the mock interview. She excelled at answering why she chose her major and how she picked Quinnipiac, detailing specifics of her background and the QU curriculum. She did a great job bringing in her past experiences, extracurriculars, and engagement with the Organization of Latin American students when asked "tell me about yourself". She can continue to make this answer more robust in future interviews by also sharing her top skillsets and overall brand to stand out. Janet had one of the best and comprehensive answers to "why are you interested in working for this company", a question that will ALWAYS be asked in every interview. She knew the value statement of the company, and spoke to specifics of the company's objectives including how the company was focusing on technology integration to support companies - she will stand out in interviews when using this approach in the future! Janet shared her top strengths when asked "why should I hire you", but I would like to see her expand a bit more on her soft skills in real interviews as this will position her at a more competitive advantage. Janet should also feel empowered to be more confident in her overall approach - she has an incredible GPA, an impressive academic background as a 3+1 student and she should feel more empowered to speak to her skillsets and talents more boldly and proudly!

If you are in direct contact with you interviewer, it is often considered a best practice to send a brief thank-you note following the interview. Within that note, you can share your interview feedback link.
Here is some sample language you can use within your thank-you note, which we encourage you to revise as you feel is most appropriate:
As I am new to the interviewing process and always looking to improve, I'd like to ask if you would take a minute to give me some (anonymous) interview feedback.
The following link [insert your interview feedback URL] contains just five general questions about my interview performance and is designed to be completed in under a minute.
If you are not in direct contact with your interviewer, it’s still often considered a best practice to send a brief thank-you note to the interview coordinator following your interview(s). Within that note, you can share your interview feedback link.
