Comments for the student: Great job at being your first interview and I compliment you for jumping in so early in your academic career. As I mentioned, your current experience with your philanthropy work at your fraternity will continue to provide great 'real life' experience. You were able to balance some personal conversation with your work situation. We discussed how to handle the normal nerves that may come along with interviewing. We did discuss carrying a portfolio to have a place to hold your resume and also to capture any questions or notes. This little trick can go a long way. Some use of filler words, nothing to concerning, but rather to be aware of for future interviews. Great job in your first interview!
Comments for faculty: I do think there is an opporutnity to tell all candidates to carry a portfolio or note pad to capture questions, take notes or to put their resume. Daniel was a good initial interview and although limited experience as he is a freshman, I compliment him for taking full advantage of the opportunity.

If you are in direct contact with you interviewer, it is often considered a best practice to send a brief thank-you note following the interview. Within that note, you can share your interview feedback link.
Here is some sample language you can use within your thank-you note, which we encourage you to revise as you feel is most appropriate:
As I am new to the interviewing process and always looking to improve, I'd like to ask if you would take a minute to give me some (anonymous) interview feedback.
The following link [insert your interview feedback URL] contains just five general questions about my interview performance and is designed to be completed in under a minute.
If you are not in direct contact with your interviewer, it’s still often considered a best practice to send a brief thank-you note to the interview coordinator following your interview(s). Within that note, you can share your interview feedback link.
